The Magpul bolt action magazine well is a drop in for the Remington 700 Stock, effectively letting you use a detachable magazine in you Remington 700. Easy to install by removing you OEM bottom metal and spacer from your Hunter 700 stock. With this add on users can use the reinforced polymer trigger guard and magazine well. Ambidextrous magazine release is made of melonite treated steel. Designed for use with short action magazines, you receive a Magpul five round PMAG. Works with guns chambered in .308 Winchester, 7.62x51 NATO.

Magpul Detachable Mag Well and magazine

Item fits excellent.Works excellent.Why not 5 stars?The mag is single stack.Propriatary?Possible other single stack mag may work.I put these on others rifles.They love the detachable mag option,but complained about the single stack.We put it on Rem 700s in 308/6.5 Creedmore/ 22-250.Personally I feel the magwell and mag are a perfect add to the stock.I would buy it for my own rifle when money allows.I would give it a 5 on my own rifle.Wise has a great price on both,ships fast.Thanks again Wise.
